    A NEW education centre offering learning opportunities to help people develop new skills and boost their career prospects has opened its doors.
    The Worcester Training Centre in Unity House on Stanley Road offers free literacy and numeracy courses equivalent to GCSE level for people who may be unemployed or simply looking to brush up on their learning.
    The centre, which is run by Midland Community Education and Training Limited, also provides a wide range of NVQ courses such as health and social care and customer service.
    The courses are open to people aged 19 and older and can be studied either at the centre between 10am to 5pm or online from home.
