THE BRAND new and exhilarating show Killer - The Jerry Lee Lewis Story is coming to Huntingdon Hall on Friday, January 27 - and we're offering one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets.
Hosted by John Banner this is another show in the Lets Rock n' Roll series and features the brilliant performer Peter Gill and his band.
The show tells the story of Jerry Lee from his meteoric rise to fame through hits such as Great Balls of Fire and Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On, to his equally fast fall from grace when he married his 13 year old cousin Myra.
It then moves on to his reinstatement as one of music's biggest names with his triumphal return to the top in the mid 1960s when he performed in The Star Club in Hamburg.
Featuring more than 20 of his hits performed by the brilliant Gill with an energy Jerry Lee would have been proud of, this is a show that will appeal to those were brought up with rock n'roll or are discovering it for the first time.
The show starts at 8pm and has been organised by John Banner Charity Promotions to raise money for Acorns Children's Hospice.
To be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets send your answer to the following question, along with your name and daytime telephone number to Jerry Lee Competition, Worcester Standard, Webb House, Church Green East, Redditch B98 8BP.
