The 21-year-old full back, who can also play in midfield, will link up with City next week once his current loan spell at Gloucester City has ended.
City boss Carl Heeley said: "Tyler has got a lot of potential and we have been very impressed when we have been to watch him. I think he will improve as a player with us."
Play off chasing City travel to Vauxhall Motors tomorrow in Blue Square Bet North.
