WORCESTER Warriors head coach Richard Hill is still hopeful he can keep hold of star prop Matt Mullan.

But Hill admitted he is beginning to plan life at Sixways without wingers Miles Benjamin and Marcel Garvey.

All three have yet to pen new deals, which has caused a lot of uncertainty around the club as to whether Warriors can hold on to their star players.

While Benjamin and Garvey look increasingly likely to end their stays at the club, having reportedly attracted interest elsewhere, the future of academy graduate Mullan remains up in the air.

Hill said: "I am a little bit more hopeful to keep hold of Matt than perhaps Miles and Marcel.

"Matt has been good - he has kept the dialogue going and he will no doubt keep his options open and see what is available to him.

"I would imagine the odd visit to one or two clubs will be on the cards for him over the next couple of weeks but I wouldn't put that against him because you have got a short career and he has got to make sure he makes the right decision.

"What I do think is that every match we win now is helping towards him maybe staying at Worcester. I am little bit more hopeful but I wouldn't guarantee it."

But the Sixways boss is losing faith in Garvey and Benjamin signing new deals, adding: "My hope is dwindling to keep Marcel and Miles.

"I have not heard back from them, so we are now moving on. We don't know for certain and we hold out hope but at the moment I'm think about possibly making other plans now. I have not done anything about it yet but I am now starting to turn my attention to that fact I may have to."
