FULL back Tyler Weir could make his full debut for Worcester City as they prepare for a crucial Blue Square Bet North clash at play-off rivals FC Halifax Town on Saturday.
The 21-year-old is in line to make his first appearance for City since signing on loan from Hereford United with Carl Heeley set to freshen things up after back to back defeats against Vauxhall Motors and Gloucester City.
Heeley said: "Tyler will definitely come into the equation there's no doubt about that. After two defeats everyone in the squad has got a chance of starting.
"Tyler has got quite a bit of experience playing in our division and he's very versatile, he can play either full back or in midfield which is a big asset for us."
Despite successive defeats, City remain just four points adrift of FC Halifax who occupy the final play off spot and there was little to choose between the two sides when they drew 1-1 at St George's Lane in August.
But the City boss admits his side will have to stamp out the individual errors which have crept into recent performances, if they are to return with three points from the Shay Stadium.
"We are capable of going to Halifax and winning, there is no question about that. But we have to defend better," Heeley said.
"We have to cut out the individual errors and as a unit we have to defend better - if we do that then we are not far away. We are scoring goals and creating lots of chances but we are just at times giving ourselves a mountain to climb"
"It's easy to over analyse things but I don't want us to do that. If we go back to doing the basic things well we will be fine.
"We are looking forward to the game and it's nice we are actually talking about Worcester City being at the same end of the table as Halifax and seeing them as one of our competitors for the play off spots. It is a sign of how far we have come."
