WORCESTER Wolves will be hoping to continue their push for the BBL Championship crown when they take on the Sheffield Sharks tonight.

Wolves make the trip to south Yorkshire looking for revenge following their heartbreaking one point defeat against the Sharks earlier in the season.

When both sides met last November a basket in the dying stages from Nate Reinking saw Sharks steel victory from Wolves’ grasp in a thrilling game.

A win would give second placed Wolves a fifth consecutive victory but head coach Paul James is expecting a difficult challenge, despite Sheffield sitting only sixth in the table.

"The Sharks are a good team with good players in every area," he said.

"Justin Dobbins, Mike Tuck and Nate Reinking are their key players. When we played them in November we controlled the game for the most part, but failed to close the game out. Should we be in the same position again I think we will do a much better job in finishing the game off this time around."

“I'm sure the Sharks' squad is surprised with their position in the table, as this is not something they are accustomed to.”

Victory would give Wolves some crucial momentum heading into their mouth-watering top-of-the-table clash at home to Newcastle Eagles next weekend.
