MOTORISTS are being urged to drive carefully tonight (Thursday) with surface temperatures on the county's roads set to dip to -10 C overnight.
The county's 31 gritters will be out from 6pm treating roads with sub-zero temperatures set to bring the risk of ice.
They will be treating both primary and secondary routes tonight, but motorists are being asked to drive with caution and never assume that just because a road has been gritted it's safe to travel at normal speeds.
