TWO TEENAGE girls were head-butted in the face during a vicious assault at a fun fair on Worcester Racecourse.
The girls were attacked after an altercation with a man near the main entrance of the fair at about 10pm on Friday (23 March).
Their attacker is described as Asian, aged in his 20s and was wearing a white Adidas top. He was with a white woman who was wearing a white cardigan.
After the assault, they were seen leaving the fair in the direction of Castle Street.
PC James Prosser from Worcester Police Station said: "This was quite a vicious attack on two girls aged 15 and 17. Luckily neither were injured in the assault.
"I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to get in touch."
A 20-year-old man was arrested near where the assault took place in connection with the incident and has been released on police bail while an investigation is carried out.
