THE STARS of one of the Nineties' most popular sitcoms Birds of a Feather will be reunited at Malvern Theatres next month for a brand new stage adaptation of the hit BBC show.
Birds of a Feather enjoyed huge popularity as it ran for almost a decade on BBC TV up until 1998.
It chronicled the misadventures of Sharon Theodopolopoudos and Tracy Stubbs (Pauline Quirke and Linda Robson) and their man-eating neighbour, Dorien Green (Lesley Joseph).
Now the three actresses will pick up where they left off as their adored characters in a brand new show created especially for the theatre by The Comedy Theatre Company, producers of the highly successful tour of Victoria Wood’s Dinnerladies.
Pauline Quirke was most recently seen as Hazel Rhodes in ITV1’s Emmerdale and is also well known for her portrayal of Olive Martin in the award winning drama The Sculptress, Down to Earth, Cold Blood and Missing.
Both Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph have performed in The Vagina Monologues.
A regular guest panelist on ITV1’s Loose Women, Robson's theatre credits also include Grumpy Old Women Live while Joseph's include Calendar Girls, Hot Flush, Humble Boy and Annie. Also joining the cast are Quirke and Robson's sons Charlie and Louis, alternating as Travis.
Birds of a Feather runs from Monday, May 7 to Saturday, May 12 with tickets from £17.50. To book call the box office on 01684 892 277 or visit malvern-theatres.co.uk
