FANS of the popular musical Oklahoma! can sing along to some of the show’s greatest numbers at a special evening taking place next week.
Great Witley Operatic Society (GWOS) have organised the Singa-longa Oklahoma! on Monday (May 14) for people to come along and sing well-known numbers from the Rodgers and Hammerstein show, including Oh, What a beautiful morning, Surrey with the fringe on top and I Cain’t Say No.
The free open evening has been organised ahead of the society’s rehearsals for next year’s performance of Oklahoma! and forms part of GWOS’ Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
It’s taking place at St Mark’s Church Hall, Bath Road from 7.30pm and everyone is welcome.
Light refreshments will be provided along with music scores.
