A SECTION of the M5 at Worcester will be closed for the next six nights while work is carried out to improve the road surface.
The northbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm to 6am starting tonight (Monday) while the work takes place between Junction 7 and 6.
Traffic will be diverted from Junction 7 along the A4440 to Warndon where it will rejoin the motorway at Junction 6.
Southbound traffic will not be affected.
Highways Agency project sponsor Purnima Kaul said: “Work will be carried out overnight to minimise disruption to the travelling public. We advise road users to follow the clearly signed diversion and allow extra time for their journeys.”
