CONCERN is growing for a woman who has not been seen since going missing from a city hostel at the end of last month.

Careen Earl was last seen at St Paul's Hostel on Tallow Hill on Wednesday, May 30.

A few days later, staff from the hostel reported her as a missing person to the police.

Despite extensive efforts to try and trace the 24-year-old, officers have been unable to locate her and are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety.

PC Dee Stanley, who is leading the investigation to find her, said: "It is very unusual for Careen to stay away from the hostel for more than two nights without telling staff at the hostel where she is going.

"She has now been missing for over ten days. We consider her to be vulnerable and we need to know that she is safe and well. She does not appear to have taken any belongings with her and we do not believe she has any money on her."

"We have information to suggest that she is with her boyfriend and that they may have gone to the Kings Lynn area of Norfolk."

Miss Earl is described as black, 5ft 4ins tall, with curly dark brown hair and of a heavy build. It is not known what clothing she might be wearing.

She is believed to be in the company of her boyfriend who is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, aged 28 and of a slim build.

Anyone who knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101.
