TWO LANES of the southbound M5 near Worcester will be closed overnight from Monday (November 12) while resurfacing work is carried out.
The Highways Agency will be resurfacing lane one of the carriageway between junctions 7 and 8 including renewing road markings and studs, with the work expected to take a week to complete.
Lanes one and two of the motorway will be closed overnight from 8pm to 6am while the work is carried out.
Highways Agency project manager Jessica Kenny, said: “This essential work has been carefully planned to be delivered when traffic levels are at their lowest."
“We will complete the work as quickly as possible to minimise disruption for motorists. Once complete, the work will result in improved driving conditions for motorists.”
