SHOPPERS at Sainsbury’s in Blackpole relived the magic of the summer’s Paralympic Games when the torch arrived at the store.
Customers had the chance to see the torch and even have their picture taken with it as part of the supermarket giant’s Paralympic Torch Experience.
The Blackpole store was one of 400 across the country to host the torch as part of the event to mark Sainsbury’s sponsorship of the London Games.
Store manager Gavin Jones added: “We’ve really enjoyed playing our part in raising awareness of the London 2012 Paralympic Games in Blackpole."
“For our customers, it was a once in a lifetime chance for them to see the torch and feel the buzz of the Paralympic Games, which we’re proud to have sponsored.”
