Santa's coming to town

YOU BETTER watch out - because Santa Claus is coming to town this weekend.

Father Christmas will be arriving in CrownGate Shopping Centre on Sunday (November 18) where he will spend the run up to Christmas welcoming children into his grotto on Friary Walk.

People of all ages can cheer on Santa from 1pm as he makes his way along the High Street and towards the shopping centre in Angel Place in a vintage car.

The Free Radio Street Stars will be welcoming him into his grotto and asking him about his plans for the big day.

Festivities begin at the grotto from 1.30pm, where Santa will be meeting and greeting children for free throughout the festive period.

Youngsters will also be able to post their letters to Father Christmas in CrownGate’s special post box, situated just outside the grotto.

The free grotto will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12pm to 4pm, Thursdays from 2pm to 6pm, Saturdays from 12pm to 4pm and Sundays from 12pm to 2pm.
