A HILARIOUS and thrilling new adaptation of the celebrated Ealing comedy The Ladykillers will be performed at Malvern Theatres from Monday (November 26).
From the writer of Father Ted, Graham Linehan, comes this classic black comedy starring Michele Dotrice (Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em), Paul Brown (Watching, Holby City), Shaun Williamson (Extras, Eastenders), and Clive Mantle (Casualty, The Vicar of Dibley).
Posing as amateur musicians, Professor Marcus and his gang of criminals rent a room in the lopsided house of sweet but strict Mrs Wilberforce. The villains plot to involve her unwittingly in Marcus’ brilliantly conceived heist job.
The police are left stumped but Mrs Wilberforce becomes wise to their ruse and Marcus concludes that there is only one way to keep the old lady quiet. With only her parrot, General Gordon, to help her, Mrs Wilberforce is alone with five desperate men. But who will be forced to face the music?
The Ladykillers runs until Saturday, December 1 with tickets from £17 to £32. To book call the box office on 01684 892 277 or visit malvern-theatres.co.uk
