Santa Claus hopes shoppers will join him in Worcester this Christmas. (s)
SANTA Claus took a trip into the city to encourage shoppers to take advantage of Worcester City Council’s free festive parking offer.
From December 9 until December 20, visitors to the city will be able to park free from 6pm at all city council run car parks on Thursday evenings.
And on Sundays shoppers and visitors can pay and display a two hour parking ticket and get the rest of the day free.
“Worcester has a fantastic retail offering for people like myself who have lots of presents to get,” said Santa Claus.
“These parking deals will help shoppers’ money go even further, so they can enjoy an even merrier Christmas - ho, ho, ho!.”
