A GROUP of pupils in Worcester gained a greater understanding of the world’s religions after representatives from a number of faiths came together to give a talk at their school.
Members of Worcester Inter Faith Forum used the opportunity of holding its annual general meeting at Red Hill CE Primary School to have lunch with Year 5 children before being welcomed as guest of honours in the school’s assembly.
The event formed part of Inter Faith Week and also helped the pupils with their project on world religions.
Headteacher Spencer Morris said: “It gave us a wonderful opportunity to recognise the different faiths and beliefs of all our staff, pupils and families.
“We see all children as unique and encourage them to recognise their own talents and attributes while respecting the views of others.”
