POLICE have arrested a man from Warndon wanted for allegedly breaching the conditions of his bail after appealing to the public for help in tracing him.

Gary Biddle, 29, of Chatcombe Drive, appeared at Worcester Magistrates' Court on October 22 to face charges of assault, which he is accused of committing on October 14.

But West Mercia Police received information he may have breached one of his court bail conditions, which is not to attempt to contact his alleged victim, and made attempts to locate and arrest Biddle so he could be put before the court.

Officers appealed for help in tracing him on November 23 and on Friday, November 30, officers arrested Biddle at a property in Brookthorpe Close at 7.15pm.

He was charged with breach of court bail and appeared at Worcester Magistrates' Court on Saturday morning, where he was re-bailed until December 10 to reappear at the same court.
