A FLOOD-HIT charity shop in Lowesmoor is set to reopen in time for Christmas tomorrow (Saturday).
The St Richard’s Hospice second-hand furniture shop closed because of flood damage but the charity took the opportunity to refurbish the store.
St Richard’s was given a helping hand to move furniture back into the shop from the charity’s warehouse in Leigh Sinton by Britannia Bennetts removals of Malvern.
And to celebrate its reopening at 11am customers will be treated to mince pies and mulled wine.
Shops and commercial director Dan Corns said: “We are looking forward to welcoming our regulars and new customers to the newly launched shop. We took the opportunity following the flooding to improve the shop environment to make it better for our shoppers and volunteers who help run it.”
