LEADERS Wyche Hunters tasted defeat for the first time this season after being beaten 4-3 by Foresters B in Division One of the Malvern Wednesday Darts League.
D. Simmonds was in blistering form for Foresters as he nailed two 140s, a 125, 121 and 101 while T. Blakemore fired in four tons. G. Jenkins racked up a 140, 121 and four tons for the leaders but it was not enough to prevent them suffering a first loss.
Bell Bosbury remain hot on Wyche Hunters' heels after edging out Anchor 4-3 in a battle of second versus third.
P. Lane was in prolific form for Bosbury with four tons and a 140 although K. Smith (2x100, 140, 180), D. Randall (3x100, 2x140) and B. Maisey (3x100, 121, 140) will consider themselves unfortunate to have ended up on the losing side.
Demons are fourth after beating basement side Beer Camp 5-2 with A. Jones racking up a 140, 137, 125 and two tons.
S. Wilde and S. Evans both hit maximums for Demons.
In the week's other clash Muggery Upton picked up their first win with a 7-0 whitewash of Express ESC with M.Lock firing in a 140, 121, 108 and 100.
