A NEW VICTORIAN Christmas-themed show celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens is coming to Huntingdon Hall on Tuesday (December 11).

A Tale of Two Christmases features The Melstock Band who are a well-known traditional English folk group who specialise in themed events and concerts.

Each member of the band has enjoyed success as an independent musician, working for the likes of the Royal Shakespeare Company and the BBC.

The seasonal show is a collection of songs and stories from Dickens’ London and Thomas Hardy’s Wessex, brought to life by exuberant authentic music, colourful period costumes and a host of traditional instruments.

Tickets cost £15 and are available from the Box Office on 01905 611427.
