CHEESY festive jumpers were all the rage at a city restaurant as a mum and toddler group fashioned their own fund-raiser in support of a global charity.

Twelve mums and babies from the Mission2Mum Club raised £90 for Save the Children as they dressed in their favourite Christmas jumpers and took part in a raffle at Bindles brasserie in Sidbury.

The event was organised as part of the national Christmas Jumper Day to raise funds for the charity which works to save vulnerable children's lives in 120 different countries.

The fund-raiser was well-supported by businesses who donated great prizes including Odeon cinema tickets; a Cut and Blowdry at Clip Joint and a full term of swimming lessons at Water Babies.

Organiser Gemma Guscott said: "We had a great afternoon and everyone got to take home one of the fantastic prizes which was a bonus! I was so overwhelmed by the generosity and incredibly grateful to the fantastic Worcester-based companies."
