Woman left distressed after sexual assault

A WOMAN has been left distressed but unhurt after a sexual assault in Worcester city centre last weekend.

Officers are appealing for information about the attack which took place in the car park behind Worcester Technology College between 11pm on December 23 and 12.15am on December 24.

A man approached a woman in her 20s as she returned to her car, pushed her against the vehicle and assaulted her. She kicked him twice, and he ran off.

The attacker is described as white, in his 30s, about 6ft tall, with very little hair, and was wearing a black jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to call PC Geraint Perkins at West Mercia Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 11-s-241212, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
