A COUNTY woman has scooped £1million on the EuroMillions lottery without even touching a ticket.

The lucky resident, named only as Miss A, banked the prize as she was one of 25 winners of the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle draw on New Year's Day.

And she scooped the cash without even having to buy a ticket as lottery operator Camelot revealed she played the game online.

A National Lottery spokesman said they were unable to reveal more details about the winner.

"Well done to Miss A, she has banked this amazing prize with just a few simple clicks – she didn’t even have to pick up a ticket. If you play interactively, not only do we check your numbers, we also let you know you have won - it couldn’t be easier."
