YOUNGSTERS can experience the thrill of singing with the renowned Worcester Cathedral Choir by signing up for a special workshop next month.

Girls and boys aged from seven to 14 are being invited to Be a Chorister for an Afternoon! at the Cathedral on Saturday, February 9.

A workshop led by Peter Nardone the Cathedral's director of music will give children the chance to experiment and discover how to get the very best from their voice.

At the end of the sessions they will then have the chance to join the world-famous Worcester Cathedral Choir to sing Choral Evensong accompanied by the cathedral's organ.

The cost for attending the workshop - which starts with registration at 1.30pm - is £4 per singer and it is open to all children including those with no previous experience.
