COSTA is preparing to open its fourth coffee shop in Worcester later this month.
The well-known chain is currently fitting out a new purpose built store in the St Martin's Quarter in Lowesmoor and plans to open during February.
It will be based in the main thoroughfare between the city centre and the heart of the £75million retail and leisure quarter and Costa hope it will become a popular stop off point for shoppers.
Colin Greensmith, regional development manager for Costa, said: “Our coffee and service is already popular in Worcester and we are pleased to be part of the St Martin’s Quarter development that has created an exciting new retail and leisure destination steeped in the city’s industrial history.”
Selwyn Rowley, of Carillion Richardson which has developed the Lowesmoor quarter, said: “It is great news that the UK’s most popular coffee chain will be part of the St Martin’s Quarter offer and is joining other thriving retail brands in this choice of location.
“As the UKs favourite coffee shop with stores in 25 other countries internationally Costa is becoming a global success story and has an offer that will be popular with locals and the many national and international travellers who visit the city each year,” he added.
