SHAKESPEARE’S classic play A Midsummer Night’s Dream arrives at Malvern Theatres on Tuesday (Feb 12) after a successful run at the Edinburgh Festival.
The Bard’s greatest comedy will be magically retold by one of the most talented up-and-coming young theatre companies in the UK - Custom/Practice.
This adaptation is a thrilling and slickly edited production in which the exceptional performers are transported from a modern, inner-city school detention room to the fantastical world of princes and lovers, forests and fairies making the absolute most of Shakespeare’s language.
Custom/Practice is a London-based theatre company founded in November 2010 and is committed to creating arresting productions of new and classical work.
The production runs until Saturday, Feb 16 with tickets from £12.50, under 26s £8.
A post show discussion will take place after the matinee performance on Thursday, Feb 14 which will be free to all ticket holders. To book call the box office on 01684 892 277 or visit malvern-theatres.co.uk
