FEARLESS business students in Worcester showed nerves of steel as they stood up in front of a panel of Dragons Den-style investors to demonstrate their entrepreneurial skills.
The mock-up of the hit-BBC show was part of an entrepreneurship event which was held at Worcester College of Technology last Wednesday (January 23).
Entrepreneurs Nicola Matthews and Miranda Ballad attended the event and gave advice to foundation business students to help them gain an insight into the industry.
They were then told to come up with their own Olympics-inspired health product before pitching their ideas to a panel of four Dragons.
Student Jade Barnes, who was part of the winning team, said: "I found the day really beneficial. The talks from Miranda and Nicola were enlightening. I’ve always wanted to set up my own business, but this has given me the extra push.”
