A WARNING for heavy snow across parts of Worcestershire has been issued from midday today (Wednesday).

The Met Office has declared a yellow warning, with the potential for between 2cm and 4cm to fall in some areas.

By about 6pm it is predicted to turn to sleet and then rain later in the evening but with temperatures set to plunge below zero there is also a risk posed by ice.
