WORCESTER wing Nikki Walker has been handed another chance to stake his claim for a place in Scotland's RBS 6 Nations Championship squad.
The 30-year-old is one of 13 additional players that have been called up to join Scotland's training squad in preparation for Sunday's match against Ireland at Murrayfield.
Alex Grove, who played a key part in Scotland A's win over England Saxons earlier this month, has missed out, while Euan Murray is unavailable for round three of the championship for reasons of his Christian faith.
This means the tight-head prop will be in contention for a place in Warriors' next Aviva Premiership fixture away at Gloucester on Friday night.
The Scotland team to play Ireland is due to be announced on Wednesday.
