THE CITY’S history was brought to life at a school near Worcester which teamed up with a museum.
Staff at the Commandery in Worcester have been attending Grimley and Holt CE Primary School to help children get a real sense of what life was like in different periods of history.
Years Three and Four pupils have been looking into Tudor times which has seen them examine artefacts and experience being museum curators.
Sue Pope, manager at the Commandery, said the partnership with the school helped the museum service develop ways to give the best support to the curriculum.
Teacher Sarah Barrett added: “The children have enjoyed designing new leaflets for the museum and pitching in their own ideas for a themed day. We were delighted to invite Sue in to examine our exhibition about life in Worcester in the past.”
